2015 Oklahoma City Thunder Season Recap

A Season of Success and Heartbreak

55-27 Finished 3rd in NBA Western Conference

The 2015 Oklahoma City Thunder season was a tale of two halves. The team started the season strong, winning 11 of their first 15 games. They were led by the dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who were both averaging over 25 points per game. However, the team hit a rough patch in December, losing 9 of 12 games. They were able to recover from that skid, but they never quite regained the same level of consistency they had at the beginning of the season.

Despite their struggles, the Thunder still managed to finish 3rd in the NBA Western Conference with a record of 55-27. They were eliminated from the playoffs in the second round by the Golden State Warriors in 7 games.

The 2015 Oklahoma City Thunder season was a roller coaster ride of emotions. There were moments of brilliance, moments of despair, and everything in between. In the end, the team came up short of their ultimate goal of winning an NBA championship. However, they showed a lot of heart and resilience throughout the season. They will be back next year, hungry to prove that they are one of the best teams in the NBA.
